Coffee Marinated Lamb Kabobs

Coffee Marinated Lamb Kabobs

2 cups strong coffee

1 cup brown sugar

2 Tb. dry mustard

1 Tb. Worcestershire

½ cup lemon juice                                      

¼ tsp. hot pepper sauce (optional)

2 tsp. minced garlic

 

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly
  2. Whisk 1 tsp. corn starch and ¼ cup water and add to the coffee mixture
  3. Bring mixture to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Cool the mixture slightly then add the kabob meat and marinate for at least 20 minutes and no more than 24 hours.
