Coffee Marinated Lamb Kabobs
2 cups strong coffee
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tb. dry mustard
1 Tb. Worcestershire
½ cup lemon juice
¼ tsp. hot pepper sauce (optional)
2 tsp. minced garlic
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly
- Whisk 1 tsp. corn starch and ¼ cup water and add to the coffee mixture
- Bring mixture to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cool the mixture slightly then add the kabob meat and marinate for at least 20 minutes and no more than 24 hours.
